i have been asked in the past why do subs/slaves have safe words, mine is "red". This is so in the heat of the moment if you need to stop or if your Dom/Master or the Dom/Master or whom He would give me to or if we are at a play party people will know something is wrong or to stop, i know most people hear stop and do just that, but at times some don't hear it. So if a safe word is put out there it makes them stop and ask what's up. i always let it be known, and have has to use it a time or two. A party we where at a few months back "Dear" was off playing "Queen" and i where at a table she was talking to a Master, another couple of the gust had came up and sat down by me. Before i go on, i need to say i have sensitive skin and bi-poler those together with a few drinks and horny sometimes not fun. Well earlier that night it was found out that light touch makes me jump and wiggle, so these two guys wanted to do this once more. i could not say stop i was shaking i tried to say red the ones who heard me was "Queen" and the other Master she asked me my safe word i said it then she told them to stop and that is what it was for. They started it once more i Yelled 'red" the Master that "Queen" was talking to looked up at me and with His eyes let me know He would stop them if they went on. They got the point at that time to stop.
So if any one is thinking about going in to this lifestyle or is in it and are told safe words are not going to be used run as fast as you can from that person. You can be hurt or killed if not, if the person is using a toy, whip, flogger, paddle, or anything you may not like or enjoy you need a safe word and a Dom/Master who will respect you when you use it.
